Resiliance Coaching With Dr Levy
What do you get when an Argentine mom and a Brooklyn-born dad raise their child on three continents? A third-culture kid with wonderful memories and trouble spelling in three languages.
Ronit spent her early years in Queens, NY, one of the most multicultural places in the world. She attended first and second grade as well as high school in Israel due to her parents’ jobs. She came back to the US in the mid-90s to attend college. After years of building a career and family in the US, Ronit is starting her next expat journey.
Due to personal experiences and her work as a clinical psychologist, Ronit knows that moving abroad can be a great and stressful adventure. She has helped people manage the big emotions that come with choosing a place to live, learning a new language (especially as a teen or adult), making new friends, dealing with discrimination, living far away from loved ones, and navigating new healthcare, education, and work systems. She understands how stress, fear, and loneliness can overwhelm our brains and bodies.
As a resilience and adjustment coach, Ronit helps people navigate the overwhelm, fears, and worries that come with moving and starting a new chapter. You’ll get support as well as practical skills and guidance to help manage the inevitable ups and downs of this process. Starting coaching before your move means you’ll have continuity of support. You can avoid the stress of finding a new support person when you’re already abroad. Instead, you can connect with someone familiar who already knows you. Together, we’ll build a strong foundation so you can manage big decisions, handle overwhelm, and adapt to your new life.
Whether you're starting to plan your move or settling into a new country, mental health and resilience coaching is as essential as making sure your documents are in order. Let’s make sure you’re fully prepared for this life-changing step.
